The Brief: For this shoot with Pesto, we were tasked with capturing a fresh set of imagery that showcased some of the latest additions to the menu, alongside the restaurant’s afternoon tea offering and drinks selection. The aim was to create a bank of warm, inviting photography that felt true to the Pesto brand, highlighting not only the food itself but also the overall dining experience.

We focused on a mix of styled hero shots and more natural, in-the-moment imagery, from close-up pasta pulls and plated dishes coming out of the kitchen, to sparkling drinks service and the layered afternoon tea stand dressed with coffees, desserts and prosecco. The final set of images brings together the variety of the menu really nicely, from rich pasta dishes, seafood and small plates to beer pours, celebratory drinks and front-of-house service, helping Pesto show off both the quality of its food and the atmosphere guests can expect when dining with them.
