MCRC & CRUK – Day in the Life Series
“Give a glimpse into what life is like as a PhD student in Manchester!”

The Brief:
We were approached by a fast-growing global graphics company that specialises in large-scale display installations to bring a fresh video to life, celebrating their expansion into Spain. At the heart of the campaign was a 90-second, social-friendly film. We followed the small team as they explored their new European hub, mixing genuine moments with carefully crafted scenes.
The final video is packed with personality and light-hearted charm, while still getting the message across clearly. We captured the scale and creativity of the operation, showcasing the team in action and the impressive spaces they’ve created. The edit strikes a nice balance between natural narration and subtle humour, with crisp visuals and a pace that keeps things lively. The film sits at the centre of a wider campaign, supported by behind-the-scenes clips, animated social cuts and hero assets, all aimed at highlighting the company’s growing presence in Europe in a way that feels real, engaging and full of character.
